Will teletherapy be secure
Yes, at B & V Thera-Pro Associates, Corp., we uphold HIPAA compliance and security to the highest regard. Teletherapy will involve the confidential and secure communication of your child’s clinical and medical information, both orally and visually.
The laws that protect the confidentiality of your child’s medical information also apply to teletherapy. As such, the information disclosed throughout the course of therapy or consultation is confidential.
We have a secure system for confidentiality and privacy. We use Zoom.us platform for all meetings (therapy sessions). We have secured a Business Associates Agreement with Zoom.us and full HIPAA compliance with encryption.
